President

Carlos Torres

Carlos has over thirty years of dance experience and has performed with numerous Ballet companies. These include but are not limited to Sacrament Ballet,  American Festival Ballet, State Street Ballet.

While dancing, Carlos became very aware of the responsiveness, support and durability of different performance surfaces and floor/stage construction. With the performer, artist and athlete in mind, Carlos became involved in the construction of floors that addressed many of the issues and concerns such as prolonged physical impact while enhancing the pleasures of movement and expression.

Some of Carlos’ floor construction experience can be found at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet in Dumbo Brooklyn, Nautilus Chamber in Guanajuato, Mexico. Ballet 101 dance studio in South Korea, Sacramento ballet, Mckeever School of Irish Dance, and many more.

Carlos firmly believes that he could continue to dance forever while dancing on the Ground Control Floors.  He hopes to make this dream a reality for as many performers as possible.
